How I Would Reboot SILENT HILL
Let's imagine for just a second that someone gives you the keys to the Silent Hill franchise. What would you do with it?
Let's cut right to the chase: purely as a fun writing exercise, I imagined how I would utilize the Silent Hill franchise if I were mysteriously put in charge. The results are a short, 5 page "cold open" to a theoretical miniseries, culminating in a document outlining my overall concept.

Let's imagine for just a second that someone gives you the keys to the Silent Hill franchise. What would you do with it?
Well, here's my personal answer: I would create a miniseries inspired by my favorite aspects of the series, utilizing familiar monsters and themes in a totally original story.
"When her brother goes missing in a small ghost town, a desperate young writer rushes to find him, unaware that she has become trapped herself."
